Rm of Lake Alma

The Rural Municipality (RM) of Lake Alma No. 8 is located in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It was incorporated as a rural municipality on May 5, 1913. The RM is surrounded by the village of Lake Alma and also includes the organized hamlet of Beaubier and the locality of Blooming.

According to the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the RM of Lake Alma No. 8 had a population of 269 living in 114 of its 142 total private dwellings. This represents a change of -1.1% from its 2016 population of 272. The RM has a land area of 785.5 km2 (303.3 sq mi) and a population density of 0.3/km2 (0.9/sq mi).

The RM is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the second Thursday of each month. The reeve of the RM is Rodney Robinson and the administrator is Myrna Lohse. The RM's office is located in Lake Alma.
